Identification & sourcing of plantations throughout Australia

Great to spend a day yesterday focused on our own 101 acre Pinus radiata plantation pruning trees & chainsawing wattle regrowth. A big part of Smith Agri International’s day to day involves the identification & sourcing of plantations throughout Australia, the sale of plantation assets, managing & creating new global markets for harvested resources across numerous species, addressing identified opportunities in Carbon, Commercial Timber Expansion, Sustainable Biomass Supply, Planning, Establishment & Planting among many others.

This last year has seen exceptional site growth parameters, one of the best in my 32 years as a forestry professional.

Back to the office today with some very sore muscles, although buoyant in the knowledge that Australia’s plantation industry has never been a more popular focus for new emerging investors across the entire commercial forestry spectrum.
